The newest wolf in the pack... maybe

My little sister came to visit me here at State this past weekend. It was great fun!! We picked her up thursday morning and she came with me to my diff-eq class... she actually understood what was going on. later that evening we watched the slaughter... i mean football game. Friday she went to the CALS open house while i took a test and later that night we went to see the Incredibles. What a great movie! there were fesivities after the movie as well... no trip down western blvd. is complete without a cookout milkshake and then there was some firefly as well. Saturday she got a taste of college life as we all 3 (liz, ness and i) sat around doing homework. at about 4 we went out to do a bit of shopping and then we went to dinner at Rockola cafe. our waiter was really cute and the food was GREAT! Then it was game night! Sunday morning she went to church with us and we did more homework until she had to leave. Over all she had a great visit. I hope that she enjoyed her visit enough to come to State for college.

This is my sister really getting into the wolfpack spirit at the football game

Tonight i went to dinner with JB. It was completely random and spontaneous and it was great. we had a good time just sitting and chatting over dinner. I decided that I should do things like this more often. I have so many friends that i don't know much about and i feel like i should. I think it would be great if i were able to be more intentional in all my friendships. I am definately going to try to work on that.

We owned 'em in putt-putt

It has been a while since i posted last, my apologies.
Well it has been quite an eventful and enjoyable weekend. James' sister, Sarah, was visiting this weekend so we all went to play putt-putt on friday night. there were 12 of us all together, 7 girls and 5 guys. Well, the boys felt that they needed to challenge the ladies during our round of putt-putt. The rules were that we would take the two highest scores for both the girls and boys teams. Well, let me just say that we beat the pants off those boys. it was brutal and it was beautiful! now, all those guys are so competitive, they just could not believe that we had pulverized them so thoroughly. it was great!!! we all had a wonderful time, although it is a bit painful for the boys to admit their defeat.
