the highlighter's story

It was no ordinary highlighter, no this highlighter was special. it had a post-it note dispenser on the cap... And this highlighter was loved, loved by my roommate. She loved to study with it, you could even say it inspired her to study... that is until that day, that dreaded day when her highlighter was lost forever.
She didn't know what to do. she tried using the pink highlighter but it was kidnapped and murdered in Chris' parking lot. she almost given up hope... but then she concluded that her beloved highlighter could only be one place, lost in the deep dark depths of the couch!
She couldn't do the job alone so she enlisted my help. we took the couch tipped it over and jiggled it. then we stuck our hands down into the cushions and successfully recovered the hostage highlighter! Much rejoicing!!! the post-it highlighter is finally back home safe and sound... it can only be explained by a miracle.
